Lynne Hartke Presents: Legacy Story Circle
In this interactive workshop, you will capture your valuable personal and family stories, so those memories are not forgotten and lost. The six sessions will explore different writing techniques to help you find your voice as you create your legacy of words. Each session will include writing prompts to unlock your memories and the opportunity to share your writing with those in the class. No writing experience necessary.
Please bring a pen and notebook and optional computer to record your words. (There are limited electrical outlets in the classroom.) There will be weekly handouts provided in class.
Six weeks: Sept 13, 20, 27, Oct 11, 25, Nov 8. From 6:30 - 8:00 pm. Cost: $75

About Lynne
Writer and speaker, Lynne Hartke, is the author of Under a Desert Sky: Redefining Hope, Beauty, and Faith in the Hardest Places. Lynne is also a contributing author to nine books with Guideposts and is the creator of Adventure Trackers, an online community for those who like to get outside and experience the beauty of God’s creation.
As a breast cancer survivor, Lynne was named a Voice of Hope with the American Cancer Society in 2018. She has been a story coach with several cancer organizations, helping others share their valuable stories. An avid hiker, Lynne still finds it challenging to keep up with her four grown children and four grandchildren. She is married to Pastor and Mayor Kevin Hartke.
