You are the light of the world...
You are the light of the world...
1968. American troops take off for Vietnam. The honorable Martin Luther King, Jr. tragically takes his final breath for justice. Apollo 8 takes flight with astronauts Anders, Lovell, and Borman orbiting the moon and taking turns reading from the book of Genesis on the largest television broadcast up to that time. Trinity takes its first steps toward becoming a non-denominational, Bible believing, missions minded, charismatic church where the gifts of the Holy Spirit could be expressed and a true family atmosphere enjoyed. We remain passionate about equipping and releasing the next generation of Christian leaders, pastors, worship leaders, and missionaries.
We desire to see people encounter God, be transformed through His presence and grow in relationship with Him. This happens through worship, God speaking to us through the Bible, prayer, and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We seek to love people by fostering community relevant to all ages, being a place where people can find healing and restoration (spiritually, emotionally, physically, relationally), and sharing the Gospel locally and globally. We purpose to raise up leaders and equip believers for the work of the ministry.
Our Core Beliefs
God's Word - We believe in the authenticity and reliability of the Bible as God's revelation to mankind of His love, redemptive work in the world and will for our lives.
God's Victory - We believe in the finished work of Jesus and that the enemy is defeated. We are invited to live abundantly in the supernatural work of God including healing, miracles, signs and wonders.
God's Calling - Every believer is a beloved son or daughter of His kingdom. We equip the saints to fulfill their calling as an ambassador of Christ in the church, community, and world. There is nothing more relevant than bringing Jesus to our needy world.
Our Core Values
Cultivating God's Presence - We believe in God's overwhelming goodness. Our connection with God is our highest priority. From the place of prayer, worship and abiding in His presence we find restoration, desire and power to do everything else.
Hearing God's Voice - The Bible leads us to Him and is our manual for life. We believe God is always speaking, that we can hear from Him and He can speak into our lives through others.
Heartfelt Obedience - Transformation comes when we walk in the direction of our prayers and do what Jesus commands us, in the strength He provides, and as an overflow of His life in us through the Holy Spirit. We aspire to support and equip each person to discover and walk out God's call on their life.
Extravagant Love - We desire to do all things with love, honor and respect, even to those who hold different views; as Jesus extravagantly loves us, we want to love and serve others.

Pastor Scott oversees the children’s and youth ministries at Trinity. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Pacific Christian College in Fullerton, California.
Scott grew up going to church, but at sixteen he noticed a group of his peers were totally sold out for Jesus. God convicted him that there was more to life than trying to be good and going to church, so he completely surrendered his life to Jesus, was baptized in the Holy Spirit, and has been serving Him ever sense. He loves sports, hiking, reading, going to movies, playing games like Scrabble and Backgammon, and exploring new fine dining restaurants. He is also an avid Suns, Cardinals and Diamondbacks fan. Jose Donan was born in the country of El Salvador in the month of January, 1960. At the age of 17 he left his country in search of economic prosperity and advanced education. In March of 1979, Jose arrived in Chandler and began to work as a laborer in an agricultural farm. That same year Jose met the love of his life, Belen Garcia Donan. They got married in 1980. Jose and Belen have a son, David Donan who is married to Karla Donan, and two precious grandchildren Belencita and Jose David Donan. Jose finished high school at South Mountain Community College in Phoenix. God changed Jose Donan's life in 1984. Jose learned several trades related to the manufacture of industrial machinery and metal structures; but his greatest development was in the personal knowledge of God and the divine plan for his life.
